We are excited to announce that “On Beauty” will have special screenings at the ReelAbilities Houston Film Festival in February. The film will show on a continuous loop at two places during the festival, including alongside a selection of photographs Rick Guidotti took of local families last year. Both locations are free to the public and last from Feb. 10-12, 2015.
The film will play continuously from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center where Rick’s photographs will be on display. “On Beauty” will also be part of a series of short films that will loop continuously from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Nicole Longnecker Art Gallery.
ReelAbilities Houston is part of a national film festival program that showcases films that exemplify the vibrant, inspiring lives of people with disabilities. The program was started in 2007 at the JCC Manhattan and now extends to more than 12 cities around the country. This is the third year for the Houston event, which runs from Feb. 8-12 at theaters, galleries and other places around the city.
